The free sitting has been won. Congratulations Sandra Merkin. Thank you to all those who responded. Many were from outside of Seattle. I apologize for not allowing you all a chance to win but logistically trying to set up a sitting becomes more difficult. I will think of something for you in the future...stay tuned.

I can tell I am getting deep into the busiest time of year because for the 2nd time in a matter of weeks I got my wires crossed (or a screw got loose) and I was once again a half hour out late for a family sitting. It has been over a week since the sitting and it is still eating at me. Timeliness is something I take very seriously in both my professional and personal life...I CANNOT stand being late. And to make things worse the two recepients of my confusion are neighbors so I feel like I have become the spacey photographer lady in their book. But hopefully the images of their wonderful little ones has eased the pain of having to wait on me.

To the Barber family... Thank you for your patience and flexibility. I am so glad you stuck in there for me because I had such a great time photographing your little guy (once you get a look at him you will see why).

If it was up to him we would have stayed in the leaves all day. Watching the pure joy kids have when they play in leaves is priceless!

Then he discovered the stairs...

And was bummed when we pulled him away to move on. How cute is this look??!!
