How is summer half way over???? I have been in and out of town and trying to stay on top of work and battle the rain to find times to shoot. It really has been crazy weather this summer and I think all Seattlites may loose their minds this winter with so little sun to fill us up.
This next family stuck it out through drizzling rain and I am so glad they did. We had fun exploring around Seward Park before a real downpour set in. There are lots of great pictures of the kids but I wanted to share a few of the girls that I think capture their quiet, thoughtful sides. Such a beautiful family!

With the weather being so hit and miss in June we felt like we hit the jackpot with a nice afternoon for this family sitting. And I thought mom hit it right with her clothing coordination for everyone. I am not a fan of everyone wearing the same single color or kids in the exact same outfit (unless it is over the top adorable & full of color) but I know putting together complimentary clothes for a family can be overwhelming. Especially when you have five kids to outfit. I was very impressed. And then the kids knocked me out with their behavior. Such nice kids. It all made for a great afternoon!

I just returned from a short start of the summer vacation with my family and am trying my best to get back in the swing of work. A little tough when the sun finally seems to have arrived for the summer here in Seattle.
Before I left I sent out my annual "newletter" and thought I should share a few pages of it here just in case you are not on my mailing list.
In the mailing I announced something new I am offering this year. Whidbey Island sittings. I am excited to photograph families in such a beautiful location that feels like it is so far away, but it is just a short, fun trip to the island from Seattle. So if you are looking for a great day trip topped off by capturing your family with stunning backdrops you may want to check your calendar and see if you can join me. See the dates listed below.
