I survived the Hood to Coast run, made it home last night and frantically trying to work through the pile of business before I hit a wall and want to fall into bed. The relay race was lots of fun but having gotten less than 3 hours of sleep in a 48 hr period is definitely taking its toll. I know there are many anxious parents waiting to see a little glimpse of their pictures. Stick w/ me and I hope to be on top of my game by tomorrow.
The first of the bunch are two kids who are full of spunk. I had photographed little Jack at Secret Garden. He was one of my shier (is that a word??shyer??)kids so I wasn't sure how he would do having the big camera in front of him again. But he BLEW me away!! These two had so much energy as we ran all over Gas Works park laughing the entire way. His sister was a natural and he just followed in her footsteps the entire shoot. I really love the black and whites of them together. The sereness and obvious love in the images just gets me.

These next two cuties were in town visiting family. They live in Australia so time with grandma is precious. I met with them just days before returning home to their dad and a little winter down under. When I walked in and saw the curls and ice blue eyes I couldn't wait to get to snapping.
I am keeping this short and sweet as I am heading out the door for a long weekend in Oregon. My husband and I are running in Hood to Coast...it will be a long 24 hrs but I am looking forward to celebrating at the finish on the beach!
Have a great weekend!

6 months old is such a great age! Being able to sit up unassisted and beam their smiles completely entertaining everyone who is around is the best. This little girl had the brightess smile. With her two bottom teeth peeking out it couldn't have been any better.

I just needed to walk around the corned from my home to meet up with this next family. When their mom scheduled the sitting we had no idea we lived so close. It was fun to take them to our neighborhood park. You just can't help but smile when you see the eyes and smiles of these two beautiful kids.

These next two boys were so easy to work with. I had a hard time believing the oldest brother was only 13! Although they are seperated by a handful of years I could tell that they really had fun with each other.

This next little guy is obviously so loved by his parents. Watching him entertain his parents and their pure enjoyment from him was priceless. Peekaboo is for sure one of his favorites. Like his parents, I loved his crazy hair. I hope I get to see him grow and change because I think he will just cuter and cuter.

This next family was so much fun. The park was just down the hill from their house, they did their wedding pictures there so it was fun to add to their collection with the addition of their stunning kids.
