This family had great plans for capturing the evening light. The weather had been great all week and the hours leading up to our later afternoon shoot. And then the weather gods turned on Seattle and the front end of our first super wet storm rolled in. Winds picked up just as our time together started. I had a few moments where I thought this may not work out and rescheduling would be imminent. Fortunately, everyone rolled with the gusty punches and watching this little one light up in awe of bubbles and ducks reminded me that no matter how stormy it is outside, the curiosity and smiles of a toddler will make everything brighter. Just on the verge of walking, she had the knew walk down cold and it was fun capturing the last in between moments before she is standing on her own two feet.
