I flew back from El Paso on Mother's Day and was happy to photograph an extended family for a mom that knew my husband when he was a boy. She was excited to get her grandkids altogether which is a rarity given that they live on both coasts. I was warned that the kids may not be up for sitting together and it wasn't looking good as most were not sure what to think when the lady w/ the big black cameras showed up.
