For days it didn't look promising that the next shoot would happen. Rain had set in and I was sure I would be calling to reschedule. Then to my surprise we got a 4 hour window of sun in the morning and it was great to get outside and runaround this beautiful Medina park.

I started working w/ this next family when Harper was only a bump in her mommy's belly. I have been lucky enough to photograph their kids 3 times each during their first year. This is the last of Grady's "Baby's First Year" sittings...I am amazed at how time has flown. It has been a fun few years.

After getting rained out at the very last minute w/ a horrible down pour I was so thrilled that 2 weeks later this family was rewarded with an incredibly beautiful day for the rescheduled shoot. This family was so fun to work with. The kids had a great time running around w/ each other and providing me with so many great photo ops. Leslie, you mentioned you loved pictures so much...I hope you love these!

I think it is more than appropriate to finish off my El Paso posts with little Grace. I loved this shoot. When I arrived I saw Grace in her ballet outfit and ready to dance with her Grandma who has been doing ballet with her this year. It was so much fun watching them together. We ended with a few outside with Grandpa who left his tutu at home.

Whenever I see a family w/ 4 kids or more I always wonder how their parents manage to keep their heads above water. Mine would be spinning. But these kids were so manageable, polite and easy to work with I figured their mom and dad have parenting down to a science and I need to take a few notes!

I have been so buried in work that I have done a very poor job in spreading the word about my upcoming workshop so there are still plenty of spots available. The workshop is this Sunday the 16th starting at 9:30. Please call or email me if you are interested.

I know this next mom is very anxiously awaiting her sneak peak because she was excited to finally have me take her boys pictures and during the shoot her youngest was not quite on board the family photo excitement train...(not a rare phenomenon amongst 1 1/2 yr olds) and I am sure she is thinking it was all for not. Hopefully these images will change her mind.

One of the many things I love about my job is that I get to see families grow. These next two families both added new little brothers since I last photographed them. Seeing families of three kids always makes me think that maybe we should add another to our crew, but then my sane side screams in my little head that there is no way if I want to continue life as I know it. So I get to live vicariously through all my clients.
Just look how cute these big brothers and sisters are and how adorable their little brothers are too!
