Another old client has added a second to their family and I was excited to get to meet him. He was so laid back I couldn't believe it. Not even the hint of a cry came out of him the entire time...amazing! And when he smiled...forget about it! His sister was full of life and worked hard to steal his thunder. And she may have succeeded, she was so cute I couldn't resist following her all around. When you see her beautiful curls, big, sparkly eyes and beaming smile you can see why.

This next sitting was a gift for Mother's Day and I hope this mom will always love and remember her husband's gift from 2009. I have known this mom for a few years and know how much she loves photography so I was flattered that my services were what she requested for her gift. I loved the dresses she picked out for her girls, I am a believer you can't go wrong w/ any bright color and brown. These girls were happy exploring the neighborhood all the while flashing me smiles and filling the air with giggles.
Happy Mother's Day Suzanna (I think it should be celebrated every day of the year!)

I am always in for a fun sitting with this next family. These brothers spent the hour chasing, rolling, climbing and giggling which makes my job easy. It is so apparent when you are with these boys that they really love each other and their parents. This family has seems to have the right recipe for creating a happy, loving family. I love this first image of them together, it definitely is going to be in my favorites from 2009 list. And the second may not be a parent's favorite but everytime I look at it I smile. This four year old has tons of spunk!

I have been envying this next family for over a year now and after seeing them again I continue to be green with envy. They moved to London with their daughter and have been enjoying all the living abroad brings...one day I hope to do the same with our boys. I was flattered that when they were planning their summer visit home they made sure to fit me into their crazy schedule. It was so fun to see how much little Scarlett has grown (I have been photographing her since she was brand new) and run all over the Locks with her. I couldn't choose just one image of her running away from and then back to mom and dad, I love the whole series.

I have one sister and it is rare for my whole family to get together so I can't imagine the planning that goes into getting 4 sisters and their families together at one time. But that is just what this next family accomplished and they were excited to have me document how their family has grown. These girls have good genes, they are beautiful and they have passed it on to thier little ones.

One set of siblings were old pros with me as I have gotten to photograph them a handful of times in the past few years. I think they prepped their Denver cousins for me because they brought their A game as soon as they stepped out of their car. It was fun to capture these cousins together.

I have a very soft spot for this next family because they are related to one of my favorite friends. These boys made my job very easy because they were full of energy and smiles. I could have photographed the newest addition for days. He just kept giving me the most adorable, happy expression. Mom and dad are obviously doing something just right because these boys are SUPER! I have fun photographing families at their homes because sometimes I can find little spots that they would have never guessed as photographic. I loved the sidewalk scene just a few doors down and the boys seemed to like it too. Just as we were finishing up the last couple images were taken. They had us all rolling looking like they had a big secret that they had to keep quiet. And I have to include one of Uncle Ben's (my friend) cameo appearance.
