My head is spinning with balancing work and summer life. My blog is getting lost in the shuffle.
I am getting to see lots of new and old faces from behind the camera and I am having so much fun. This next family had a recent addition who did amazingly well on a windy morning. There is no doubt she is going to be a beautiful little girl given that her brother and sister are so cute. We met at one of my most used places and it was fun to find a small little spot of tall grass that made me feel like we could have been out at a farm. I love this time of year when everything is so green and new!

Last week was full of new babies. And getting to see how much their big brothers and sisters have grown. I had so much fun photographing the first year of this next big brother and baby Thomas is following in his footsteps as a great little model.

Quiet blog means madness behind the scenes. I have been shooting a lot and enjoying visitors. Yesterday was one of my most favorite shoots I have done in a long time and I can't wait to share it with you...hopefully next week.
This next little girl is the last to join such a wonderful family. It is always so much fun to see this family and how the kids have grown. It was as though the older kids had already prepper her about being the perfect little model for me. The focus was all on her and she was amazing.

Summer Special

I have an exciting summer special that I will be announcing soon but for the first time I am going to do something different...I'm going old school and mailing the special. With email, blogs, and all this crazy technology my work has definitely benefitted but I still love getting letters in the mail so hopefully my surprise will make going to the mailbox fun for others. If you would like to be added to my mailing list send an email to me asap (tara@taraclarkphotography.com).
And since I don't like to post w/o a few images here are a few from last week when Oscar insisted on going to school w/ a colored mohawk. It was just dumb luck the the clothes he picked out that morning matched the one hair coloring we have. I think these will make me smile forever!

This is my last shoot for Elise's Baby's First Year and she didn't disappoint. When she's happy her whole body just comes alive. She may have learned it all from her brother who is just as cute.

A few weeks back I had an opportunity that I wish I got to do alot more of. Max's mom called me after learning about me from Lily's mom (If you are new to my blog you must do a search for Lily...she is beyond amazing). I always appreciate referrals but this one meant more to me because I know it wasn't only for my photography abilities. I think connecting with all children is so important and connecting with special needs kids are no different. I looked forward to meeting Max and making that connection. He did so great and I just couldn't get enough of his eyes. I am a sucker for hazel eyes. And it was so evident the love that he shared with his mom. And when she got her dance on behind me he just lit up.
This black and white image is definitely a favorite. These will be a surprise for Max's dad for Father's Day...I hope he loves them.

I have been having a hard time sitting at my computer since the sun has been out non-stop for a few weeks now. I think Seattle is an incredible city year around be it is really something spectacular when the sun is out.
I have been photographing this little guy since he was brand new. He has turned one and is walking...time flies. We had fun exploring the Arboretum together.
