I promise I am not trying to make a habit out of my few and far between posts...work and life just won't slow down. I was able to sneak away for 4 days on a lake w/ my boys so at least I got a few early bedtimes in!
Last week was CRAZY and AMAZING and I cannot wait to share images. I am working through my family sitting right now and already have so many to share so you will be getting a double dose of the gorgeous Bailey kids. Then on Wednesday night I felt so honored to be a part of the arrival of little Chase Katherine who was born 7 minutes after Midnight on the 23rd which is my neice Abbie's birthday so there was some extra specialness tied in for me (and Abbie's brother is Chase so I thought that was a perfect name). I loved every minute of it. Chase's mom was amazing and I will have images to share very soon.
For now look at these beautiful babes!

I am so excited to announce an addition to my business. My good friend Kelly just started working for me. I have been looking forward to hiring someone for almost two years and I think the wait was definitely worth it. We took a little trip downtown w/ her boys and was really thrilled to get some fun images of her adorable boys.

I'm finally back....I think the move, summer and work finally caught up with me last week and slammed me hard into a wall. I am starting to come out from under it all and am looking forward to sharing some great images from the past few wks.
I will start it all off w/ a beautiful wedding I photographed at Newcastle on the 5th. I limit the number of weddings I do so it is always fun to photograph them. Especially when you have such a great couple like Tara & Aaron. I loved Tara from the first time we spoke on the phone. We shared a lot of laughs and stories in our meeting and I was knew I would love working with her. Then when she arrived at Newcastle I knew she was my kind of bride when she realized the rings were missing & she just said "if they turn up that is great but whatever happens we are getting married and it will be fine..." "Back up" rings were used and the rest of the wedding day went off flawlessly and it was an unforgetable wedding!
This first image from the moment they first saw each other I think captured them perfectly. They are a hilarious individuals that make such a perfect couple!

I met little Stephen when he was 3 months old and he was a happy little guy and I still love the image of him we used for the front of his birth announcement. He was even more precious for our second sitting. He was full of smiles that had me completely trigger happy. His little dimple and big eyes melted me!

First Urban Session...Part I

I couldn't wait to take more pictures downtown so a few days after the workshop I asked my best friend's daughter to be my first subject. I had SOOOO much fun. She was amazing and loving every minute of being my little model. I cannot wait to share the pictures with her. She was up for anything and because of that I have way to many pictures that I want to post. So you are going to get a double dose of "O". Here are a selection of images that I have worked through so far. I would love to receive feedback on what you think of these so feel free to leave a comment or two.
